Technique
is used to describe the skills needed to succeed in the game. Technical skill
is at the core of the game, the essence behind every skilled player.
The
best players in the world are skilled in each technical area , proficient
in the techniques needed to succeed at the highest level. These skills
were honed
through hours of training and dedication to being the best in the game. Their
development began as soon as they touched a ball. Training technique is essential
to having a successful and dominant team. The technical areas a player must
be proficient in, if he is to be succesful, are dribbling, passing, receiving,
heading and finishing.
